The Uninvited

I need to rewatch the original Korean film, coz I hated it way back, but I ended up sort of liking this one. Maybe I'll like the old one better now. It's not Shakespeare, but it does have a dead parent demanding some kind of vengeance. Read the review here.

Blindness

An old adage goes something like this: An average book can be adapted into a very good film, an excellent book usually becomes a very average film. This film was based on a novel by a Nobel Prize winner. You can see where this is going... Read my lamentation here.

Notorious

Watchmen fumbled, but for the most part it was glorious. This, however, is a disappointment on all levels. The story sounds great, I can't wait for the film that bothers to try and tell it. Read the review here.

Watchmen

I think I fell in love with this film as the opening credits rolled, and then it just kept getting better and I dared to hope... Maybe it was going to do the book justice. Then it fumbled. The end is so tepid and gutless it nearly ruined my enjoyment of what was, for the most part, a brilliant movie. My review is here.

Let The Right One In

It's an awesome film. A film to restore your faith in creativity and creepiness. Must see viewing. Read the review here.
